everything seems to be going so well.
my love and i have been together for just under 2 years.
first quarter of school is done with and i passed.
i'm making new friends that are better than most i had back home.
grama's back from arizona and i missed talking to her.
everything seems fine with dad and the rest of the family.
my roommates are the best things down here.

the only thing i'm not looking forward to is new years eve.
sure it's a time to celebrate the new year, but last year it wasn't that great.
i should've stayed home but i didn't.
they needed me there.
but i thought it would be better to be with my friends.
even tho one didn't turn out to be a friend.
at least they were there for me in my time of need.
mom, i really miss you.
i wish you hadn't gone.
the only thing i regret is christmas last year.
he should've come to see you.
